Bengal Women's U-19 team receives
grand welcome at Kolkata airport

Bengal Women's Under-19 team, who displayed an outstanding performance finishing as runners-up in the domestic One-Day Trophy, received a grand welcome on arrival at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata on Monday.
Although losing the final, Bengal were superb and consistent in the entire tournament, finishing as table-toppers in the group-stage and remaining unbeaten until the final clash.
Jhulan Goswami, Gargi Banerjee, Sharmila Chakraborty, Shrabani Tiwari, Pratima Chakraborty, Chinmay Nayak CEO (CAB) and other CAB officials, who were present to receive the Bengal team, congratulated all the members of the squad.
On Sunday, the team’s dream run at the One-Day Trophy came to an end as Uttar Pradesh won by 7 wickets to secure the title.
