champions of U-16 Girls School Cricket meet

Riding on a superb bowling performance, Infocus India Public School outclassed Behala Kishore Bharati Girls High School by 10 wickets in the summit clash on Tuesday to emerge champions of CAB Under-16 Girls School Cricket Tournament.
Batting first, Behala Kishore Bharati Girls High School were bundled out for 59 in 19.5 overs.
For Infocus India Public School, Sonali Das (3-9), Riya Basak (2-6), Joyati De (2-13), Srijeeta Biswas (1-6) were brilliant with the ball.
In reply, Infocus India Public School chased down the target easily scoring 63 for no loss in 14.5 overs. Jhilik Das scored an unbeaten 48.
For her brilliant and consistent performance, Adrija Sarkar of South Point High School was awarded the best batter of the tournament for scoring 568 runs in 4 matches. Infocus India Public School’s Sonali Das was awarded the best bowler of the tournament for bagging 15 wickets in 5 matches with her best bowling figure being 5-2-9-8.
