Bengal storm into final of Women’s U-19 One-Day Trophy

A superb all-round performance powered Bengal into the final of the Women’s Under-19 One-Day Trophy.
On Thursday, in the semifinal clash in Pondicherry, Bengal defeated Hyderabad by nine wickets to seal their place in the summit clash.
Bidisha Dey (4-28), Prativa Mandi (3-13), Rupal Tiwari (3-28), Trishita Sarkar (38 not out) and Priyanka Goldar (28 not out) were the star performers for Bengal.
Batting first, Hyderabad were bundled out for 85 in 30.3 overs.
In reply, chasing the target, Bengal went over the line comfortably scoring 87/1 in 21.3 overs.
