In the CAB First Division Super League Group A encounter on Tuesday, riding on a brilliant unbeaten 197 by Aditya Sharma and a fine effort by Kaif Ahmed (74 not out), Tapan Memorial Club posted 325/3 in their first innings at stumps. For Calcutta Customs Club, Vineet Maurya bagged 1 for 41.
In other matches, Vikas Singh bagged 5 for 106 as Mohun Bagan AC reduced Kidderpore Sporting Club to 286/6 in their first innings at stumps. For Kidderpore Sporting Club, Sonu Naubagh (79), Saurabh Singh (44), Shuvam Dey (44) impressed with the bat.
Lalit Yadav smashed a brilliant unbeaten 117 while Chinmay Jain (64) and Sambit Roy (47) also impressed as Md. Sporting Club posted 303/5 in their first innings at stumps. For United Club, Sagen Murmu bagged 2 for 41.
Almas Shaukat (73 not out) and Suprodip Debnath (64 not out) helped Town Club post 184/2 in their first innings at stumps. For Bhowanipore Club, Ritwik Roy Chowdhury and Shubham Chaubey bagged one wicket each.
Ashwin Das (58), Agniswar Das (42), Writam Porel (42) helped Kalighat Club post 261. For East Bengal, Kanishk Seth (4-65) and Ayan Bhattacharya (3-43) impressed with the ball.
