Bengal storm into semifinals of
Women’s U-19 One-Day Trophy

Riding on a brilliant all-round show, Bengal outclassed Mumbai by 5 wickets in the quarterfinal clash on Monday to enter the semifinals of the Women’s Under-19 One-Day Trophy.
Batting first, Mumbai were bundled out for 147 in 48.5 overs. Rupal Tiwari was superb with the ball for Bengal bagging 5 for 26.
In reply, Bengal went over the line easily, scoring 149/5 in 40.4 overs. Ipsita Mondal (52), Trishita Sarkar (46) were impressive with the bat.
Bengal next face Hyderabad in the last-four clash on Thursday.
