CAB U-23 plunder a clear victory against AP

Thundering on the batting mandate of the opponents, Bengal U-23 bowlers stole the deal with seven points, sweeping win by an innings and 26 runs against counterpart AP, in Kalyani.
The Bengal bowling arsenal punished the visitors crushing them to a total of 149 in the first innings and 232 in the second innings. Denying the opponents all the chances to build up an innings Bengal bowlers made the do or die match, a memorable one. Aamir Gani picked up a whopping 6 wickets in the second innings and adding to the accolades teammates Pritam Chakraborty and Ananta Saha also took a couple of wickets each.
With Bengal batters Ritwick Roy Chowdhury, Kazi Junaid Saifi and Agniv Pan doing equally well contributing 90, 66 and 84 runs respectively in the first innings, the Bengal team made a thumping come back against counterpart Andhra Pradesh today at the Bengal Cricket Academy Ground, Kalyani.
