In the CAB Second Division League two-day encounters on Friday, both the batters and bowlers dominated.
In the first match, Satyam Patra (306) helped Cossipore Club post 562. Piyush Karan bagged 5 for 98. In reply, Bata Sports Club were 22/0.
In other matches, Sayantan Mahapatra (7-56), Aamir Hussain (71 not out) helped Victoria Sporting Club beat Ariadaha Sporting Club by 6 wickets.
Soham Manna (120), Kamakesh Adak (86) helped Mauri Sporting Club post 340/8. Pratip Roy bagged 4 wickets. In reply, Bantra Cricket Club were 19/3 at stumps.
Souvik Dutta (121) helped Howrah Union post 279. Varun Singh bagged 3 wickets. In reply, Satya Sandhi were 58/1 at stumps.
Vilas Joshi (51, 6-71) helped Friends Athletic Club beat Central Calcutta Sporting Club by 7 wickets.
Ajay Yadav (4-34), Rahul Bose (63) helped Calcutta University Institute beat Amateur Cricket Club by 8 wickets.
Neelotpal Bauri (56) helped Abasar post 294/9. Jai Kishor Yadav bagged 4 for 79. In reply, Friends Sporting Union were 13/0 at stumps.
Rajesh Mondal (91) helped Sarat Samity scored 283. Showmajit Khaskel bagged 5 for 111. In reply, Albert Sporting Club scored 35/2 at stumps.
