Bengal finds form as Agniv adds muscle
27th October 2017
A unbeaten knock of 84 runs by Agniv Pan helped the Bengal U-23 team stack up a 407 run innings in day two against counterpart AP, in Kalyani.
Agniv Pan seemed to have rolled back into form as he put up an 84 earlier today to the score sheet of the home team. With the burden of captaincy removed from Agniv's shoulder, Bengal looks confident and Agniv looks buckled up for the upcoming matches in the Col. C K Naidu Trophy.
While the inclusion of Aamir Gani and Kanishk Seth from the Ranji squad proved a boon for the U-23 team as they picked up a wicket each, teammate Pritam Chakraborty picked one as well.
Andhra finished the day at 114 for 4, trailing by 293 runs. At stumps were skipper batsmen Naren Reddy and Bhimarao at 10 and 1 respectively.
