In the CAB First Division League two-day encounter on Wednesday, both the batters and bowlers impressed on Day 2.
In the first match, P Someshwar Rao (97), Mohit Roy (48) helped BNR Recreation Club beat Calcutta Port Trust Sports Club by 2 wickets. Calcutta Port Trust Sports Club posted 254. Suman Das bagged 4 for 90. In reply, BNR Recreation Club scored 255/8.
In other matches, Shubhrajit Das (96), Amritendu Ghosh (63), Raju Halder (6-106) helped Netaji Subhas Institute beat Sporting Union by 3 wickets. Vipin Chandra (137) helped Sporting Union post 298. In reply, Netaji Subhas Institute scored 300/7. Sunny Singh bagged 5 for 88.
Sk Ajharudin (6-71), Aditya Roy (111) helped Rajasthan Club beat Anandabazar Patrika Sports Club by 140 runs. Rajasthan Club posted 306. In reply, Anandabazar Patrika Sports Club were bundled out for 166.
Milind Mandal (95), Amit Gautam (77), Noman Manzoor (6-79) helped Calcutta Police Club beat Dalhousie Athletic Club by 8 wickets. Dalhousie Athletic Club posted 220. In reply, Calcutta Police Club scored 224/2.
Md Imtiaz Al (58), Krish Mallick (46), Anuj Kumar (5-72), Saumya Pakray (4-45) helped Uttarpalli Milan Sangha beat YMCA (College Branch) by 2 wickets. YMCA (College Branch) posted 225. In reply, Uttarpalli Milan Sangha scored 226/8. Gaurav Kumar bagged 5 for 45.
