In the Inter District Under-18 two-day league-cum-knockout tournament on Monday, both the batters and bowlers impressed on Day 1.
In the first match, Md Raj (112), Supratik Pal (92), Md Sahidul (51) helped Murshidabad DSA post 412. Dip Dakua bagged 4 for 75. In reply, Coochbehar DSA were 17/2 at stumps.
In other matches, Agniswar Das (107) helped Birbhum DSA post 222. Asutosh Agarwal bagged 7 for 50. In reply, Dakshin Dinajpur DSA were 141/5 at stumps.
Kushal Gupta (45, 6-57) helped Howrah DSA beat Siliguri MKP by 4 wickets. Batting first, Siliguri MKP scored 126. In reply, Howrah DSA scored 128/6. Robin Choudhury scored 48.
Pranshuu Vishal Tulsean (4-27), Om Kumar Das (3-29), Sukriti Jana (45 not out) helped Midnapore DSA beat Nadia DSA by 6 wickets. Nadia DSA scored 133. In reply, Midnapore scored 134/4. Arnab Roy scored 60.
Neelabh Banerjee (73), Manav Binakiya (59) helped North 24 PGS DSA post 285. Hooghly DSA’s Tanmoy Dey bagged 4 for 54.
Amanat Ali Ahmed (79 not out), Shibam Kumar Saha (3-27) and Ronodeb Routh (3-19) helped Jalpaiguri DSA beat Bankura DSA by 9 wickets. Bankura DSA scored 130. In reply, Jalpaiguri DSA scored 131/1.
