Amar (8-54), Arun (6-66), Pawan (5-48) impress in 1st Div League Two-Day meet

In the CAB First Division League two-day encounters on Sunday, the bowlers dominated the batters, displaying some outstanding performances.
In the first match, Amar Chaudhary bagged an impressive 8 for 54 as Bhukailash Sporting Club beat Police Athletic Club by 92 runs. Anshuman Pandey (59) and Abhishek Yadav (53) helped Bhukailash Sporting Club post 275. In reply, Police Athletic Club scored just 183. Ayush Ray scored 51.
In other matches, Arun B (6-66), Jay Goyal (3-64) and Akshay Dullarwar (84) helped Belgachia United Club beat Tollygunge Agragami by 7 runs. Belgachia United Club posted 216. In reply, Tollygunge Agragami scored just 209.
Pawan (5-48), Sayan Paul (3-56) helped Kumartuli Institute beat Aryan Club by 52 runs. Earlier, Bapi Manna bagged 7 for 67 as Aryan Club bowled out Kumartuli Institute for 235. In reply, Aryan Club were bundled out for 183. Viraj Krishna scored 79.
Karan Singh (5-38), Debashish Samantray (62), Deepak (55) helped Dakshin Kalikata Sansad beat Kolkata Union Sporting Club by 5 wickets. Kolkata Union Sporting Club posted 178. In reply, Dakshin Kalikata Sansad scored 183/5.
Ayush Raj (4-38), Swapnil Choudhary (3-18) helped E.Rly.Sports Association bowl out Paikpara Sporting Club for 125. In reply, E.Rly.Sports Association were 85/5 at stumps on Day 1. Priyanshu Patel bagged 4 for 30.
