In the CAB Second Division League two-day encounters on Saturday, both the batters and bowlers dominated on Day 1.
In the first match, Bishal Roy Choudhury (163), Sandip Das (108) and Pitam Karmakar (78) helped West Bengal Police Sports Club post 502/9. For Ballygunge Sporting Association, Rohit Sen bagged 4 for 117.
In other matches, Raheel Ghorai (157 not out), Md Makshud Ali (85) helped Narkeldanga Sir Gooroodas Institute post 349. Raj Sagar bagged 6 for 110. In reply, WB Association of the Deaf were 5/0 at stumps.
Debashish Karmakar (151), Ashwin Pal (100) helped Central Calcutta Sporting Club post 377/8. Ishan Khatri bagged 3 for 70. In reply, Mauri Sporting Club were 17/1 at stumps.
Tushar Mondal (61, 7-37) helped Wari Athletic Club beat George Telegraph Sports Club by 75 runs. Sanjiv Kumar Singh bagged 5 for 51.
Vilas Joshi (7-11), Asad Ibrahim (38) helped Friends Athletic Club beat Calcutta Rangers by 8 wickets.
Ankit Pandey (30, 4-41) helped Mohunlal Club beat Alipore Sporting Club by 4 wickets.
Abhishek Rawat (63) helped Jorabagan Club post 246. Harsh Sharma bagged 4 for 28. In reply, Burnpur Cricket Club were 61/3 at stumps.
Subham Kumar Prasad (98), Md Junaid (45) helped Bata Sports Club post 233. Nabajyoti Basu bagged 4 for 73. In reply, Excelsiors Club were 94/1 at stumps. Ayaz Uddin Siddik scored 47.
