(5-72) impress in 1st Div League Two-Day meet

In the CAB First Division League two-day league encounters on Wednesday, both the batsmen and bowlers dominated on Day 1, displaying some outstanding performances.
In the first match, Dipanjan Mukherjee (112) helped Netaji Subhas Institute post 173. For Anandabazar Patrika Sports Club, Jitender Shaw bagged 3 for 41. In reply, Anandabazar Patrika Sports Club were 125/3 at stumps.
In other matches, Soham Ghosh (5-24), Abhijit Mal (43 not out) helped Shambazar Club beat Dalhousie Athletic Club by 6 wickets. Batting first, Dalhousie Athletic Club scored just 93. In reply, Shambazar Club scored 97/4.
Pijush Laha (5-56) and Adil Alvi (5-72) helped YMCA (College Branch) bundle out Sporting Union for 198. In reply, YMCA (College Branch) were 42/0 at stumps.
Sahil Lalchandani (89), Vishal Bhati (79), Rahul Sen (61) helped Monohar Pukur Milan Samity post 377/9 at stumps. For Uttarpalli Milan Sangha, Faizanul Rehman bagged 5 for 93.
Pappu Singh (72 not out), Sayan Dey (43) helped Calcutta Police Club post 293. For BNR Recreation Club, Suman Das bagged 6 for 101.
Sagar Sharma (80), Parvej Alam (43) helped Calcutta Port Trust Sports Club post 261. For Rajasthan Club, Vaman Sharma and Harsh Dev Gautam bagged three wickets each. In reply, Rajasthan Club were 45/1 at stumps.
