Bengal bag third straight victory
in Women’s U-19 One-Day Trophy

Riding on a superb all-round performance, Bengal outclassed Mumbai by 4 wickets in Bengaluru on Wednesday to register their third successive victory in the Women’s Under-19 One-Day Trophy.
After three wins from as many matches, Bengal are in second spot in Group A with 12 points.
Batting first, Mumbai were bundled out for 207 in 49.2 overs. Monika Mal (3-29), Bidisha Dey (2-39) were brilliant with the ball.
In reply, Bengal went over the line easily scoring 211/6 in 48.1 overs. Priyanka Goldar (58), Priyanka Prasad (49 not out), Bidisha Dey (34 not out) and Ipsita Mondal (30) were impressive with the bat.
