impress in First Division League

In the CAB First Division Super League Group A encounters on Tuesday, both the batters and bowlers dominated on Day 1.
In the first match, Kazi Junaid Saifi smashed a brilliant unbeaten 106 while Priyank Patel (48 not out) also impressed as Barisha Sporting Club posted 247/4 in their first innings at stumps. For Kidderpore Sporting Club, Akhilesh Yadav was the pick of bowlers bagging 1 for 60.
In other matches, Geet Puri (3-46), Yash Garg (3-73) and Subham Sarkar (2-50) were superb with the ball as Town Club bundled out United Club for 224 in their first innings. Seazan Hossain (69) and Sachin Singh (61) impressed with the bat. In reply, Town Club were 26/1 at stumps.
Arikta Das (57 not out) helped Calcutta Customs Club post 166/5 in their first innings at stumps. For East Bengal Club, Vikas Singh and Sayed Irfan Aftab bagged two wickets each.
Mehul Chaudhary (64 not out) and Suvankar Bal (50) helped Mohun Bagan AC post 216/6 in their first innings at stumps. For Md. Sporting Club, Aritra Chatterjee (2-43) and Nilkantha Das (2-75) impressed with the ball.
