Mamani, Sujata impress but Bengal go down in Women’s U-23 T20 opener

Bengal went down fighting to Maharashtra by 4 wickets in the opening match of the Women’s Under-23 T20 Trophy on Sunday.
Batting first, Bengal posted 138/9 in 20 overs. Sujata Dey (36) and Sneha Gupta (30) impressed.
K N Mulla bagged five wickets for Maharashtra.
In reply, Maharashtra went over the line, scoring 142/6 in 20 overs. Mamani Roy (3-11) and Jhumpa Roy (2-29) impressed with the ball for Bengal.
