In the CAB Second Division League two-day league encounters on Sunday, both the batters and bowlers dominated on Day 1.
In the first match, Anup Kumar Barick (138), Abhishant (117) helped Suburban Club post 466. Bhagirath Rajwar bagged 4 for 78. In reply, Burnpur Cricket Club were 22/0 at stumps.
In other matches, Nitya Nanda Maji (129), Sandip Das (110), Bishal Roy Choudhary (95) helped West Bengal Police Sports Club post 477/9 at stumps. For George Telegraph Sports Club, Surajit Das bagged 4 for 77.
Sandipan Dey (101 not out, 3-57), Pradunya Sarkar (3-11), Asish Bera (59) helped Behala Friends Union Club beat Bengal Sporting Club by 7 wickets.
Abhik Sinha bagged 6 for 49 as Bandroni Young Bengal Sporting Association bundled out Howrah Sporting Club for 175. Dipesh Chandra scored 55. In reply, Bandroni Young Bengal Sporting Association were 103/6. Sasanka Das scored 62. Shreyom Nandi bagged 3 for 38.
Aritra Nandi (94), Amman Siddiqui (81) helped Calcutta Rangers post 290. Indrajeet Singh bagged 6 for 88. In reply, Mauri Sporting Club were 87/2 at stumps.
Ashish Pathak (80), Prasanna Das (60) helped Jorabagan Club post 228. Raja Shaw bagged 6 for 52. In reply, Ballygunge Sporting Club were 27/1 at stumps.
Sk Siddik (4-25), Kingkar Roy (66 not out), Md Kashif (54 not out) helped Taltala Institute beat Aurora Athletic Association by 9 wickets.
Amit (68), Ayush Rajbhar (53) helped Wari Athletic Club post 241. Akash Agrahari bagged 6 for 77. In reply, Alipore Sporting Club were 65/1 at stumps. Pritam Marjit scored 46.
Virat (54) helped Sahapur Sporting Club post 298. Piyush Kumar and Somnath Maity bagged three wickets each. In reply, Cricket Club of Dhakuria were 20/0 at stumps.
