Ipsita hits 155 as Bengal outclass Meghalaya
by 307 runs in Women’s U-19 One-Day Trophy

A dominant batting display by Ipsita Mondal (155 off 123) followed by a superb performance by the bowlers powered Bengal to a massive 307-run victory over Meghalaya in the Women’s Under-19 One-Day Trophy opener in Bengaluru on Saturday.
Ipsita hit 27 boundaries in her match-winning knock while Priyanka Goldar (77 off 67) also impressed.
Koyel Sarkar (3-6), Rupal Tiwari (2-7), Monika Mal (2-17), Goldar (1-10) were the pick of the Bengal bowlers.
Batting first, Bengal scored a mammoth 367/5 in 50 overs. Priyanka Prasad (40 not out) and Rupal Tiwari (38) were other star performers.
In reply, Meghalaya lost wickets at regular intervals and were bundled out for 60 in 42.2.
