Pradipta (74, 1-35), Sayan (5-33) power Bengal
past Kerala in Vijay Hazare Trophy match

Pradipta Pramanik scored a fighting unbeaten 74 while Sayan Ghosh bagged an impressive 5 for 33 as Bengal outclassed Kerala by 24 runs in the Vijay Hazare Trophy match in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
The victory helped Bengal climb to top of Group E with 14 points from four games, having won three and a no result.
Earlier, put into bat, Bengal, recovered from early struggles, to score 206/9 in 50 overs. Besides Pradipta, Kanishk Seth (32), Kaushik Maity (27) and Sumanta Gupta were the pick of the batters.
In reply, Kerala lost wickets at regular intervals and were bundled out for 182 in 46.5 overs.
Besides Sayan, Kaushik (2-25), Mukesh Kumar (2-27) and Pradipta (1-35) were superb with the ball.
