In the CAB Second Division League two-day encounters on Monday, both the batters and bowlers dominated on Day 1.
In the first match, Pradunya Sarkar scored a brilliant unbeaten 203 off 146 balls as Behala Friends Union Club scored 488/6. Asish Bera (71), Sandipan Dey (62), Manish Singh Rawat (53) also impressed. Anik Patra bagged 3 for 129. In reply, National Athletic Club were 29/0 at stumps.
In other matches, Ranjan Saha (6-43), Priyanshu Singha (40) helped Cricket Club of Bhowanipore beat City A.C by 7 wickets.
Sourav Kumar Prasad (104), Ashish Yadav (51) helped Taltala Ekata Sangha post 299/8 at stumps. For Measurers Club, Avinav Sharma bagged 4 for 46.
Samadrito Biswas (5-37), Suraj Karmakar (4-50) helped Baranagar Sporting Club bowl out YMCA (Chow BR) for 170. Subhadeep Halder scored 48. In reply, Baranagar Sporting Club were 44/5 at stumps.
Soubhagya Sundar Pakreh (60), Soumyajit Dutta (57) helped Balak Sangha post 264. Salkia Friends Association’s Yasir (4-45) and Arjun (3-44) impressed. In reply, Salkia Friends Association were 32/0 at stumps.
Lalit Mohan Das (85 not out), Aditya Mondal (52 not out) helped Bengal Sporting Club score 333/7 at stumps. For Vijay Sports Club, Akash Mondal bagged 3 for 68.
Krishanu Bhattacharjee (81) and Subhajit Naskar (80) helped Star Sporting Club post 337. In reply, South Suburban Club scored 5/0 at stumps.
Dhiraj Kumar Pandey (4-26), Shivam Bari (4-25), Mayur Doi (36) helped Greer Sporting Club beat High Court Club by 9 wickets.
