impress in First Div League Two-Day meet

In the CAB First Division League Group two-day encounters on Monday, both the batsmen and bowlers dominated on Day 1, displaying some outstanding performances.
In the first match, Akshay Dullarwar (57), Ganesh Chanda (54) helped Belgachia United Club post 295. Police Athletic Club’s Anish Prasad bagged 5 for 72. In reply, Police Athletic Club were 29/0 at stumps.
In other matches, Anshuman Pandey (91 not out), Md Modashir Mallick (57) helped Bhukailash Sporting Club score 329/9 at stumps. Ballygunge United Club’s Sandeep Yadav bagged 4 for 75.
Rohan Taank (4-22), Krishnayan Chatterjee (58 not out) helped Kolkata Union Sporting Club beat Aikya Sammilani by 7 wickets. Batting first, Aikya Sammilani scored 114. In reply, Kolkata Union Sporting Club scored 117/3.
Basudev Ghosal (48) helped Paikpara Sporting Club post 227. Shibpur Institute’s Amit Kr Pandey and Narayan Rana bagged three wickets each. In reply, Shibpur Institute were 64/2 at stumps.
Pintu (4-56), Himanshu (3-35) helped Aryan Club bowl out Tollygunge Agragami for 176. Shreeraj Gharat scored 47. In reply, Aryan Club were 129/2 at stumps, thanks to Kevin Almeida (43 not out).
Piyush Yadav (71) helped Kumartuli Institute post 193. E.Rly Sports Association’s Ayush Raj (4-49) and Swapnil Choudhary (3-54) impressed. In reply, E.Rly Sports Association were 112/4 at stumps. Uttam Roy Chowdhury scored unbeaten 60.
