In the CAB Second Division League two-day encounters on Saturday, the bowlers dominated the batters on Day 2.
In the first match, Bhupinder Singh (7-104) and Abhishek Mitra (158) helped International Club beat Calcutta Parsee Club by 137 runs. International Club scored 378/9. In reply, Calcutta Parsee scored 241.
In other matches, Paramjit Singh (6-14, 76), Chakradhar Dwivedi (112) helped Taltala Institute beat Gymkhana by 295 runs. Taltala Institute posted 387/9. In reply, Gymkhana’s scored just 92.
Kaushik Deb (5-34), Vikash Meena (124) and Amitava Chaudhuri (50) helped Aurora Athletic Association beat Howrah Sporting Club by 182 runs. Aurora Athletic Association posted 334. In reply, Howrah Sporting Club scored 152.
Rishav Sharma (5-25), Rahul Thakur (68), Yash Dwivedi (69) helped Bansdroni Young Bengal Sporting Association beat Cricket Club of Dhakuria by 133 runs. Bansdroni Young Bengal Sporting Association posted 341/9. In reply, Cricket Club of Dhakuria scored 208.
