Abhishek (158), Vikash (124), Sarit (5-48) impress in Second Division League Two-Day meet

In the CAB Second Division League two-day encounters on Friday, both the batters and bowlers dominated on Day 1.
In the first match, Abhishek Mitra (158) helped International Club score 378/9 at stumps. Calcutta Parsee Club’s Ankesh Kumar Roy bagged 4 wickets.
In other matches, Vikash Meena (124) and Amitava Chaudhuri (50) helped Aurora Athletic Association post 334. Ankur Sarkar bagged four wickets. In reply, Howrah Sporting Club were 14/3 at stumps. Kaushik Deb bagged 3 wickets.
Swapnil Jaiswal (120 not out), Krish Dutta (87) helped Jorabagan Club post 332/8 at stumps. George Telegraph Sports Club’s Arnab Bhattacharjee and Abhishek Mishra bagged two wickets each.
Chakradhar Dwivedi (112) and Paramjit Singh (76) helped Taltala Institute post 387/9 at stumps. Gymkhana’s Animesh Paul bagged three wickets.
Sarit Datta (5-48), Abhishant (30) Monomit Mitra (4-36) helped Suburban Club beat Ballygunge Sporting Association by 5 wickets.
Sayan Mondal (4-54), Pratip Roy (3-29), Tufan Roy (63 not out), Arpan Aich (47 not out) helped Bantra Cricket Club beat Calcutta Rangers by 9 wickets.
Ankit Pandey (97) helped Mohunlal Club post 286. Wari Athletic Club’s Tushar Mondal bagged 6 for 85. In reply, Wari were 12 for no loss at stumps.
Riajul Rahaman (86), Krish Singh (51) helped Alipore Sporting Club post 363/9 at stumps. WB Police Sports Club’s Pitam Das bagged 4 for 93.
Rahul Thakur (68), Yash Dwivedi (69) helped Bansdroni Young Bengal Sporting Association post 341/9. Somnath Maity bagged four wickets. Cricket Club of Dhakuria were 7/0 at stumps.
