Bengal, Tripura share points in rain-hit Vijay Hazare Trophy match

Bengal shared points with Tripura after their Vijay Hazare Trophy match in Hyderabad on Thursday ended in a no result due to inclement weather.
Bengal and Tripura bagged two points each from the match. After two matches in Group E, Bengal currently have 6 points.
Put into bat after the match was reduced to 25-overs-a-side, Tripura scored 201/7 in the allotted overs. Mandeep Singh (94 off 56) and Jiwanjot Singh (56) impressed with the bat.
For Bengal, Sayan Ghosh bagged two wickets while Mukesh Kumar and Kaushik Maity clinched one each.
In reply, Bengal were 42/2 in 6.2 overs when play was stopped due to rain. With the weather showing no signs of improvement, the match ended in a no result.
