Aditya’s 106 not enough as Bengal go
down in Cooch Behar Trophy quarterfinals

A valiant effort with the bat by Bengal’s Aditya Roy (106) was not enough as the Under-19 team went down fighting to Gujarat by 362 runs on the fourth and final in the Cooch Behar Trophy quarterfinals at the Eden Gardens on Wednesday.
Chasing a mammoth target of 614, Bengal were bowled out for 251 in their second innings. Khilan A Patel bagged 5 for 87.
Earlier, opting to bat, Gujarat scored 409 in their first innings, thanks to Rudra Pritesh Patel (208). In reply, Bengal were bowled out for 211.
In their second innings, Gujarat scored 415/8 decl in their to hand a massive target to the hosts. Rudra Mayur Patel (172) and Khilan (110) impressed with the bat for the visitors.
