Shuvrashankha (8-49), Bivanshu (157), Sharvil (6-51) star in Second Div League Two-Day meet

In the CAB Second Division League two-day encounters on Tuesday, both the batters and bowlers dominated on Day 1.
In the first match, Shuvrashankha Karmakar (8-49, 33) helped Central Calcutta Sporting Club beat Cossipore Club by 4 wickets. Satyam Patra scored a fine 94.
Bivanshu (157 not out), Raheel Ghorai (88) helped Narkeldanga Sir Gooroodas Institute score 455/6 at stumps. Indrajit Singh bagged 3 wickets for Mauri Sporting Club.
Anirban Chakraborty (100 not out), Asad Ibrahim (93), Vilas Joshi (84) helped Friends Athletic Club score 343. Md Azeem Bargujar bagged 4 for 63. In reply, Bata Sports Club were 20/3 at stumps.
Aniket Chakraborty (100), Arindam Adhikari (65 not out), Sandip Das (59) helped Ariadaha Sporting Club post 364/7. In reply, Amateur Cricket Club were 21/0 at stumps.
Sharvil Pandit (6-51), Raja Khan (46) helped Howrah Union beat Abasar by 4 wickets.
Friends Sporting Union were bowled out for 185. Md Shahid Raza and Showmajit Khaskel bagged three wickets. In reply, Albert Sporting Club were 79/2 at stumps.
Dhrub Kacher (47) helped Bani Niketan Sports Club post 230. Aamir Hussain bagged 4 for 83. In reply, Victoria Sporting Club were 91/1 at stumps.
Sarat Samity were bundled out for 154. Calcutta University Institute’s Ajay Yadav bagged 5 for 49. In reply, Calcutta University Institute were 122/3 at stumps. Pratyush Kr Singh scored 50.
Ansh Sinha (81) helped WB Association of the Deaf post 280 at stumps. Excelsiors Club’s Ankan bagged 5 for 80.
