Bengal made to toil hard against Gujarat in Cooch Behar Trophy quarterfinals

Bengal Under-19 bowlers were put to a tough test against a dominant batting effort by Gujarat in the Cooch Behar Trophy quarterfinals at the Eden Gardens on Tuesday.
Batting first, Gujarat scored 409 in their first innings, thanks to Rudra Pritesh Patel (208). Shivamm Bharati bagged 4 for 58 while Yudhajit Guha claimed three wickets.
In reply, Bengal were bowled out for 211. Vishal Bhati top-scored with a fine 78.
In their second innings, Gujarat were 390/6 at stumps on Day 3 with a massive lead of 588 runs.
Rudra Mayur Patel (168 not out) and Khilan A Patel (90 not out) were unbeaten at the end of day’s play. Yudhajit and Vishal two wickets each for Bengal.
