CAB First Division League gets underway

The CAB First Division Super League Group A encounters got underway on Sunday at different venues.
In the five matches scheduled for the opening day, only two got underway as the other three matches got affected due to earlier rains.
In the first match in Gayeshpur, Kalighat Club were 25/1 in their first innings at stumps on Day 1 against United Club. Sagen Murmu bagged the only wicket.
In the second match in Kalyani, Tapan Memorial Club were 43/2 in their first innings at stumps against East Bengal. Sumit Mohanta bagged the two wickets for East Bengal.
