St Johns Public School will be up against Cathedral Mission High School in the final of the Mayor's Cup cricket tournament after both the team bagged easy win in their respective semifinal matches on Monday.
In the first semifinal, Piyush Karan (4-47, 37) Anurag Chakraborty (54) helped St Johns Public School beat Nava Nalanda High School by 116 runs.
Batting first, St Johns Public School scored 269. Ram Sen bagged three wickets. In reply, Nava Nalanda High School were bowled out for 153.
In the second semifinal, Sayon Das (3-25, 11), Subhra Kamal Halder (66), Akash Yadav (3-26), Shreyansh Yadav (3-37) helped Cathedral Mission Public School beat Infocus India Public School by 86 runs.
Batting first, Cathedral Mission High School scored 202. Infocus India Public School's Raunak Ghosh bagged an impressive 6 for 55. In reply, Infocus India Public School were bundled out for 116.
