Bengal storm into quarterfinals
of Senior Women’s One-Day Trophy

Bengal stormed into the quarterfinals of the Senior Women's One-Day Trophy after a dominant 98-run victory over Chandigarh in their final group-game in Lahli on Monday.
With five wins from six games in Group E, Bengal enter the last-eight stage as Group-toppers with 20 points.
Priyanka Bala (50 not out off 72), Prativa (42 off 57), Dhara Gujjar (31 off 55), Prativa Mandi (3-14), Saika Ishaque (2-9), Sushmita Ganguly (2-16), Chandrima Biswas (2-32) and Tanushree Sarkar (1-1) were the star performers for Bengal.
Batting first, Bengal scored 199/7 in 50 overs. In reply, Chandigarh lost wickets at regular intervals and were bundled out for 101 in 46.5 overs.
