Saurabh (81, 3-33), Anish (5-46), Uddipan (62) impress in CAB 1st Div One-Day meet

Bhukailash Sporting Club, Police Athletic Club, Calcutta Police Club and Aryan Club registered easy wins in their respective league-stage matches of the CAB First Division One-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Friday.
In the first match, Saurabh Srivastav (81 not out, 3-33), Debarpan Bhattacharya (4-33) helped Bhukailash Sporting Club beat Ballygunge United Club by 3 wickets. Batting first, Ballygunge United Club scored 176. In reply, Bhukailash Sporting Club scored 181/7.
In the other match, Anish Prasad (5-46), Sanjeev Goswami (86 off 73), Dibya Kishore Chatterjee (66, 1-43) helped Police Athletic Club beat Indian Boys Athletic Club by 5 wickets. Batting first, Indian Boys Athletic Club scored 219/9. In reply, Police Athletic Club scored 223/5. Sudip Halder scored 74.
Uddipan Mukherjee (62 not out), Bapi Manna (2-26), Rajarshi Mitra (2-29), Viraj Krishna (50) helped Aryan Club beat Shyambazar Club by 4 wickets. Batting first, Shyambazar Club scored 177/8. In reply, Aryan Cub scored 181/6. Vaibhav Pal bagged 4 for 28.
Amit Gautam (55), Sk Fardeen Haque (3-44), Shivam Roy (2-35) helped Calcutta Police Club beat YMCA (College Branch) by 7 wickets. Batting first, YMCA scored 226. In reply, Calcutta Police Club scored 230/3.
