Sarthak (4-29), Ram (88), Akhilesh (4-21), Aryadeep (77) star in Mayor's Cup quarters

Nava Nalanda High School, St Johns Public School, Cathedral Mission High School and Infocus India Public School entered the semifinals of the Mayor’s Cup cricket tournament after the teams won their respective quarterfinal matches on Friday.
In the first quarterfinal match, Sarthak Ghosh (4-29), Ram Sen (88 off 81), Harsh Pandey (50) helped Nava Nalanda High School beat Howrah Vivekananda Institution by 4 runs. Batting first, Nava Nalanda scored 237/8. In reply, Howrah Vivekananda Institution scored 233. Ayan Mondal scored 81.
In other matches, Akhilesh Shukla (4-21, 25 not out), Anurag Chakraborty (74), Subham Kr Yaduvanshi (64) helped St Johns Public School beat Delhi Public School Megacity by 247 runs. Batting first, St Johns Public School scored 326/7. In reply, DPS scored just 79.
Aryadeep Mandal (77), Akash Yadav (4-20) helped Cathedral Mission High School beat Ratnakar North Point School by 84 runs. Batting first, Cathedral Mission High School scored 302. In reply, Ratnakar North Point School scored 218.
Satyam Yadav (3-18), Aryaveer (59 not out) helped Infocus India Public School beat Aditya Academy Sr Secondary by 9 wickets. Batting first, Aditya Academy Sr Secondary scored 102. In reply, Infocus India Public School scored 103/1.
