In the 6 matches played in the league-stage encounter of the CAB Second Division One-Day Tournament on Thursday, both the batters and bowlers impressed.
In the first match, Sparsh Mimani (161 not out off 129), Karandeep Singh Manjira (43, 2-44), Abhishek Kumar (2-51) helped Amateur Cricket Club beat George Telegraph Sports Club by 21 runs. Santosh G scored a fine 103.
In other matches, Animesh Paul (121 not out, 1-48), Sanjiv Singh (3-11), Shivam Yadav (106) helped Gymkhana beat Cricket Club of Dhakuria by 80 runs. Mithun Dutta scored 87.
Ankit Singh (102 not out), Krish Singh (5-10), Samrat Naskar (77) helped Alipore Sporting Club beat Friends Athletic Club by 194 runs.
Ashish Pathak (90 not out, 2-53), Arijit Seal (104 off 67) helped Jorabagan Club beat Howrah Sporting Club by 6 wickets. Shreyom Nandi scored 108.
Labibur Rahman (60, 2-46), Rajat (4-55), Sudhankar Singh (2-30) helped Calcutta Parsee Club beat Mohunlal Club by 5 wickets. Dibyendu bagged three wickets.
Harshit Giri (3-28, 24), Devansh Mittal (51), Showmajit Khaskel (3-47) helped Albert Sporting Club beat Satya Sandhi by 5 wickets.
