impress in CAB Inter District U-18 Women’s One-Day meet

In the 6 matches played in the league-stage encounters of the CAB Inter District Under-18 Women’s One-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Thursday, both the batters and bowlers dominated, displaying some superb performances.
In the first match, Ekaa Roy Chowdhury (101 not out), Poulomi Mahanta (3-16) helped Burdwan District Sports Association beat Chandernagore Sporting Association by 176 runs. Batting first, Burdwan scored 255/6. In reply, Chandernagore were bundled out for 79.
In other matches, Manushri Rajak (82, 5-24), Tanushree Adhikary (52) helped Hooghly District Sports Association beat Murshidabad District Sports Association by 127 runs. Batting first, Hooghly scored 274/7. In reply, Murshidabad scored 147/9.
Priyanka Golder (50, 5-13), Sinjini Chakraborty (61) helped North 24-PGS District Sports Association beat Siliguri Mahakuma Krira Parishad by 152 runs. Batting first, North 24-PGS scored 214/7. In reply, Siliguri Mahakuma Krira Parishad were bundled out for 62. Ratna Barman bagged 4 for 33.
Sikha Sil (3-5), Hiranmayee Ray (3-17) helped Jalpaiguri District Sports Association beat Malda District Sports Association by 5 wickets. Batting first, Malda were bowled out for 51. In reply, Jalpaiguri scored 52/5. Jeni Parvin bagged three wickets.
Sumi Das (59, 2-10), Riya Kumari Mahato (5-15) helped South 24-PGS District Sports Association beat Dakshin Dinajpur District Sports Association by 219 runs. Batting first, South 24-PGS scored 248. In reply, Dakshin Dinajpur were bundled out for just 29.
Ahana Mallick (3-4), Sanchita Kar (2-12), Shivanshi Tiwary (2-5) helped Howrah District Sports Association beat Birbhum District Sports Association by 6 wickets. Batting first, Birbhum were bundled out for 41. In reply, Howrah scored 42/4. Subarna Mondal bagged 3 for 16.
