Dominant Bengal bag third win in
Senior Women’s One-Day Trophy

Riding on a superb all-round performance, Bengal outclassed Meghalaya by 9 wickets on Thursday to register their third victory of the Senior Women's One-Day Trophy.
After three wins from four games so far, Bengal currently are in second spot in Group E with 12 points.
Saika Ishaque (4-2), Mita Paul (2-6), Sushmita Ganguly (2-10), Dhara Gujjar (1-2) and Chandrima Biswas (1-21) were the star performers for Bengal with the ball.
Later on, Tanushree Sarkar (46 not out off 36) and Dhara (27 not out off 22) impressed with the bat.
Batting first, Meghalaya were bundled out for just 75 in 38.3 overs. In reply, Bengal chased the target down comfortably, scoring 76/1 in 10 overs.
