impress in Inter District U-18 Women’s One-Day meet

In the 6 matches played in the league-stage encounters of the Inter District Under-18 Women’s One-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Wednesday, both the batters and bowlers dominated, displaying some superb performances.
In the first match, Diya Nandi (104 not out, 2-13), Shreya Sarkar (2-5), Nabanita Biswas (2-9) helped Nadia District Sports Association beat Malda District Sports Association by 160 runs. Batting first, Nadia scored 215/4. In reply, Malda scored only 55.
In other matches, Snaayovi Sikdar (6-46), Abhishruti Dhar (67) helped Chandernagore Sporting Association beat Coochbehar District Sports Association by 28 runs. Batting first, Chandernagore scored 207/9. In reply, Coochbehar scored 179. Shreya Sarkar and Dhruti Roy bagged four wickets each.
K. Chinky (5-6), Priti Mahanta (2-21) helped Midnapore District Sports Association beat Dakshin Dinajpur District Sports Association by 9 wickets. Batting first, Dakshin Dinajpur scored only 48. In reply, Midnapore scored 49/1.
Subarna Mondal (4-12), Namrata Chandra (2-8), Sabnur Sultana (2-15) helped Birbhum District Sports Association beat Bankura District Sports Association by 28 runs. Batting first, Birbhum scored 77. In reply, Bankura scored just 49.
Shreya Roy (72 not out, 3-25), Supritha Sarkar (40) helped Murshidabad District Sports Association beat Manbhum Sports Association by 8 wickets. Batting first, Murshidabad scored 166/6. In reply, Manbhum scored 167/2.
Sinjini Sarkar (32, 3-12), Ratna Barman (46), Priya Sahani (2-4) helped Siliguri Mahakuma Krira Parishad beat Uttar Dinajpur District Sports Association by 9 wickets. Batting first, Uttar Dinajpur scored 106/8. In reply, Siliguri scored 111/1.
