impress in Inter District U-18 Women’s One-Day meet

In the 6 matches played in the league-stage encounters of the Inter District Under-18 Women’s One-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Tuesday, both the batters and bowlers dominated, displaying some superb performances.
In the first match, Priyanka Golder (134 off 101, 1-4) batted superbly as North 24-Parganas District Sports Association beat Uttar Dinajpur District Sports Association by 379 runs. Soumi Roy bagged three wickets. Batting first, North 24-PGS scored 405/7. In reply, Uttar Dinajpur were bunded out for just 26.
In other matches, Shreya Roy (100 not out off 87), Nandita Kal (3-24), Anushka Kar (3-24) helped Manbhum Sports Association beat Hooghly District Sports Association by 61 runs. Batting first, Manbhum scored 177/8. In reply, Hooghly scored 116.
Ariktha Manna (6-14), Neha Naskar (21 not out), Dimple Singh (3-7) helped Howrah District Sports Association beat Bankura District Sports Association by 10 wickets. Batting first, Bankura were bundled out for 39. In reply, Howrah scored 40 for no loss.
Priyanka Prasad (35, 1-7), Nikisha Hazra (45), Bindu Mondal (1-9), Ayesha Khatun (1-5) helped Burdwan District Sports Association beat Cooch Behar District Sports Association by 91 runs. Batting first, Burdwan District Sports Association scored 165/7. In reply, Cooch Behar scored 74/4.
Nandini Biswas (4-23), Diya Nandi (36), Abhika Biswas (3-2) helped Nadia District Sports Association beat Jalpaiguri District Sports Association by 44 runs. Batting first, Nadia scored 127. In reply, Jalpaiguri scored just 83. Mehek Hossain bagged three wickets.
Sweta Singh (64), Debosmita (2-16), Sristi Mondal (2-31) helped South 24-PGS District Sports Association beat Midnapore District Sports Association by 49 runs. Batting first, South 24-PGS scored 180/8. In reply, Midnapore scored 131. Chinky bagged 3 for 29.
