In the 8 matches played in the league-stage encounter of the CAB Second Division One-Day Tournament on Tuesday, both the batters and bowlers impressed.
In the first match, Krish Agarwal (111 not out off 121), Soumyadeep Chakraborty (3-33), Mohd Faizan (3-22) helped Ballygunge Sporting Association beat Bengal Sporting Club by 7 wickets.
In other matches, Afnan Molla (6-15, 30 off 11), Md Azeem Bargujar (74), Shubham Kumar Prasad (67) helped Bata Sports Club beat Bani Niketan Sports Club by 123 runs. Dhrub Kacher scored 75 also bagging 3 for 55.
Rishav Sharma (4-14), Snehasish Das (30), Yash Dwivedi (3-14) helped Bansdroni Young Bengal Sporting Association beat Bantra Cricket Club by 2 wickets. Sayan Mondal and Pratip Roy bagged three wickets.
Dipanjan Halder (4-18), Akash Sikder (2-6, 22) helped Central Calcutta Sporting Club beat YMCA (Chow BR) by 6 wickets.
Sujit Soren (46, 1-21), Ayaz Uddin Siddik (58), Harshit Krishna (3-28) helped Excelsiors Club beat Calcutta Rangers by 6 wickets.
Debagni Basu (76), Aadit Osatwal (77), Siddharth Sinha (4-27) helped Calcutta Cricket Club beat Salkia Friends Association by 224 runs. Uthsav Shukla bagged 6 for 57.
Souvik Mitra (2-29), Ram Sen (55), Aditya Jha (2-38) helped Taltala Ekata Sangha beat Friends Sporting Union by 2 runs. Aman Pandey bagged 4 for 29.
Paramjit Singh (3-42, 18), Sourav Paul (67), Sk Siddik (3-35) helped Taltala Institute beat Aurora Athletic Association by 7 runs.
