In the 8 matches played in the league-stage encounter of the CAB Second Division One-Day Tournament on Monday, both the batters and bowlers dominated, displaying some excellent performances.
In the first match, Pranjal Das (129 off 81), Souvik Chatterjee (2-17) helped Balak Sangha beat High Court Club by 41 runs. Koustav Mandal scored 52.
In other matches, Dinesh Samal (81 off 48), Ashutosh Shivram (50), Akash Mondal (2-30), Pallab Sarkar (2-37) helped Vijay Sports Club beat Greer Sporting Club by 6 wickets. Mukul Roy bagged three wickets.
Amit Banerjee (4-38), Supriyo Sil (61) helped Cricket Club of Bhowanipore beat West Bengal Police Sports Club by 18 runs. Kunal Bose bagged four wickets.
Avinav Sharma (36 off 16, 3-54), Harsh Sharma (55 not out) helped Measurers Club beat Sahapur Sporting Club by 6 runs. Abhimanyu Singh bagged three wickets.
Alok Sharma (52, 2-3), Swagat Kumar Jha (51), Amit Biswas (2-12) helped Suburban Club beat Victoria Sporting Club by 8 wickets.
Bikram Majhi (74, 1-12), Akash Paul (2-32), Aranya Mukherjee (2-29) helped Ariadaha Sporting Club beat WB Association of the Deaf by 41 runs. Laxman Satyam bagged three wickets.
Sohail Ahmed Khan (51 off 27), Bhupinder Singh (3-21) helped International Club beat Abasar by 8 wickets.
Jagdish Pradhan (46, 2-46), Salman Khan (51, 2-42) helped Burnpur Cricket Club beat National Athletic Club by 25 runs. Sk Rakib bagged four wickets while Subhadeep Das Mahapatra scored 62.
