Dominant Bengal post 518 against
J&K in Cooch Behar Trophy

A dominant batting performance powered Bengal Under-19 team to a mammoth 518 in their first innings against Jammu and Kashmir in the Cooch Behar Trophy match in Jammu on Sunday.
Soumyadip Manna (89 off 90), Vishal Bhati (89 off 124), Debangshu Pakhira (85 off 115), Chandrahas Dash (80 off 164) and Rohit (40 off 59) were the pick of the batters for Bengal. For J&K, Jeevesh Gupta bagged four wickets.
After Bengal were 299/6, Soumyadip and Debangshu added 158 runs for the seventh wicket to take team past the 450-run mark.
Earlier, in their first innings, J&K were bowled out for 391. In their second innings, the hosts were 20/1 at stumps on the third and penultimate day, still trailing by 103 runs.
