Shailesh (145), Raushan (142), Anurag (5-28) star in CAB 2nd Div One-Day Meet

In the 8 matches played in the league-stage encounter of the CAB Second Division One-Day Tournament on Saturday, both the batters and bowlers dominated, displaying some excellent performances.
In the first match, Shailesh (145 not out off 115), Rik Samadder Choudhury (4-35), Bhanu Pratap Singh (76) helped South Suburban Club beat Mauri Sporting Club by 9 wickets. Ritam Mal scored 115.
In other matches, A brilliant knock by Raushan Kumar (142 off 69) went in vain as Amateur Cricket Club went down to Friends Athletic Club by 11 runs. Anurag Viswakarma (5-28), Asad Ibrahim (96) impressed for Friends Athletic Club.
Md Makshud Ali (115 not out), Sayed Ayaan Ali (2-54), Raheel Ghorai (78) helped Narkeldanga Sir Gooroodas Institute beat Cossipore Club by 4 wickets. Satyam Patra (79, 3-63) impressed.
Rebanto Pathak (4-21), Animesh Paul (30) helped Gymkhana beat Satya Sandhi by 19 runs. Anjan Saha bagged three wickets.
Sk Md Sharukh (66, 1-7), Somnath Maity (3-22), Spandan Bhowmick (54) helped Cricket Club of Dhakuria beat Albert Sporting Club by 2 wickets.
Najeebul Khan (3-33), Raja Khan (55) helped Howrah Union beat Star Sporting Club by 5 wickets. Paramjit Hazari scored 50.
Soham Misra (38 off 15, 2-26), Sayan Paul (63), Ayush Gupta (60), Om Kumar Das (3-18) helped Sarat Samity beat Behala Friends Union Club by 135 runs. Pradunya Sarkar bagged four wickets.
Arnab Bhattacharjee (24, 4-41), Nikhil Sinha (81 off 59) helped George Telegraph Sports Club beat Wari Athletic Club by 59 runs. Anand Sharma bagged three wickets while Agneesh Chatterjee scored 70.
