In the 8 matches played in the league-stage encounter of the CAB Second Division One-Day Tournament on Friday, the batters dominated the bowlers, displaying some excellent performances.
In the first match, Vikash Meena (121 off 76, 2-31), Jahir Khan (121 off 110) helped Aurora Athletic Association beat Bata Sports Club by 154 runs. Subham Yadav bagged 6 for 59.
In other matches, Arpan Aich (115, 1-0), Sayantan Paul (54), Sourav Poddar (2-23) helped Bantra Cricket Club beat YMCA (Chow BR) by 87 runs. Aryya Das bagged 4 for 56.
Victor Upadhaya (93 not out), Atanu Santra (2-24), Sandip Das (73) helped Taltala Institute beat Bani Niketan Sports Club by 69 runs. Krish Mittal scored 50.
Abhijoy Saha (92 off 78), Suman Sethi (2-39), Anurag Roy (54) helped Baranagar Sporting Club beat Calcutta University Institute by 46 runs. Pratyush Kr Singh scored 70.
Rupak Rajbhar (56, 2-40), Ankur Sarkar (3-31) helped Howrah Sporting Club beat Calcutta Parsee Club by 6 runs. Viranca Poddar (84) also impressed.
Amit Roy (78, 2-53), Souvik Sarkar (3-44), Ankit Pandey (2-20) helped Mohunlal Club beat Jorabagan Club by 4 wickets. Swapnil Jaiswal (72) also impressed.
Sachin Kr Singh (72 not out, 2-25), Saptak Chakraborty (3-22), Subham Goswami (62), Sidhant Singh (3-24) helped White Border Club beat City A.C by 174 runs.
Sasanka Das (53, 3-24), Rahul Thakur (64) helped Basdroni Young Bengal Sporting Association beat Central Calcutta Sporting Club by 93 runs.
