North 24-PGS DSA and D. Dinajpur DSA registered easy victories in their respective Round Two matches in the CAB Inter District Senior Men’s One-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Tuesday.
In the first match, Dipanjan Mukherjee (98 not out off 72, 2-36), Sandipan Das (118 off 94), Raju Halder (3-6) helped North 24-PGS DSA beat Malda DSA by 74 runs. Batting first North 24-PGS scored 289/4. In reply, Malda DSA were bundled out for 215. Aninda Mandal scored 71.
In the second match, Pradunya Sarkar (32, 3-22), Pritam Basak (50 not out) and Soumyajit Mandal (2-29) helped D Dinajpur DSA beat Jalpaiguri DSA by 16 runs. Batting first, D Dinajpur DSA scored 218/8. In reply, Jalpaiguri DSA were bowled out for 202. Akash Roy bagged two wickets while Abhijit Biswas scored 58.
