Abishek’s quick-fire 61 powers Bengal
past Meghalaya in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy

Abishek Porel smashed a brilliant unbeaten 61 off just 31 balls as Bengal outclassed Meghalaya by 6 wickets to bag their fourth victory in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy campaign on Sunday.
After four wins from five games so far, Bengal, with 16 points, are placed third in Group A.
Batting first, Meghala managed to score 127/6 in 20 overs. Sayan Ghosh and Prayas Ray Barman bagged two wickets each for Bengal.
In reply, Bengal went over the line, comfortably scoring 128/4 in 11.5 overs. Karan Lal (42 off 16) and Writtick Chatterjee (25 not out off 18) also impressed.
