In the 8 matches played in the league-stage matches of the CAB Second Division One-Day League-cum-knockout tournament on Sunday, both the batters and bowlers dominated.
In the first match, Amit Roy (93 not out, 1-22), Soumyajit Munshi (3-21) helped Mohunlal Club beat Howrah Sporting Club by 3 wickets. Rupak Rajbhar bagged 4 for 25.
In other matches, Abhishek Rajbhar (67), Krish Singh (3-29), Pritam Marjit (55) helped Alipore Sporting Club beat Wari Athletic Club by 8 wickets. Nayan Ghosh scored 60.
Animesh Paul (60 not out, 1-33), Vikas Yadav (4-27), Rayyan Khan (3-26) helped Gymkhana beat Albert Sporting Club by 58 runs.
Akankshit (44 not out, 2-28), Deepjyoti Tapadar (3-21) helped Friends Athletic Club beat George Telegraph Sports Club by 5 wickets. Rohit De Sarkar scored 54.
Sk Salman (4-35), Diptanshu Gain (64) helped Narkeldanga Sir Gooroodas Institute beat South Suburban Club by 6 wickets.
Joydeep Roy (3-6), Chandranath Dutta Thakur (53) helped Cricket Club of Dhakuria beat Satya Sandhi by 146 runs. Anjan Saha bagged 3 for 37.
Pratim Sarkar (35, 2-21) helped Jorabagan Club beat Calcutta Parsee Club by 2 wickets. Labibur Rahman bagged 3 for 30.
Sayan Parui (46, 2-19) helped Mauri Sporting Club beat Cossipore Club by 6 wickets.
