impress in CAB 1st Div One-Day meet

Calcutta Port Trust Sports Club won their game while the other two matches in the CAB First Division One-Day league-stage on Saturday were abandoned due to rain.
In the first match, Anuj Sharma (101 not out), Dipanjan Mukherjee (75) helped Netaji Subhas Institute score 268/5. In reply, Shibpur Institute were 47/1 when play was stopped due to rain and the match was abandoned.
In other matches, Sporting Union and Uttarpalli Milan Sangha match was abandoned due to rain. Sporting Union’s Atanu Ghosh (81) and Jayesh Kumar Singh (50) impressed. Uttarpalli Milan Sangha’s Saumya Pakray bagged 4 for 57. Batting first, Sporting Union scored 179. In reply, Uttarpalli Milan Sangha were 70/4 when rain stopped play.
Rahul (2-15), Sagar Sharma (2-4), Rohit Ram (35) helped Calcutta Port Trust Sports Club beat Tollygunge Agragami by 6 wickets. Batting first, Tollygunge Agragami scored 127. In reply, Calcutta Port Trust scored 131/4. Suraj Dhouni bagged 4 for 25.
