Arpan (141), Subham (110), Biplab (5-27) star in CAB 2nd Div One-Day Meet

City A.C, Taltala Institute and Salkia Friends Association won their matches in the league-stage encounter of the CAB Second Division One-Day Tournament on Saturday, while the other matches were abandoned due to rain.
In the first match, Arpan Aich (141 not out) helped Bantra Cricket Club score 260/4. In reply, Central Calcutta Sporting Club were 102/3 when play was stopped due to rain and the match was abandoned.
In other matches, Subham Goswami (110) helped White Border Club score 242/8. In reply, Baranagar Sporting Club were 46/2 when play was stopped due to rain and the match was abandoned. Md Nasir bagged four wickets.
Saksham Sharma (38, 2-22) helped City A.C beat Calcutta University Institute by 5 wickets. Shubham K Jaisawal scored 58.
Bishal Sikari (59), Sasanka Das (58) helped Bansdroni Young Bengal Sporting Association score 288/9. In reply, YMCA (Chow BR) were 44/2 when play was stopped due to rain and the match was abandoned. Subhadeep Halder bagged three wickets.
Sachin Dubey (67, 2-11), Victor Upadhaya (51), Akash Tripathi (3-13) helped Taltala Institute beat Bata Sports Club by 10 wickets.
Mayukh Biswas (40) helped Bani Niketan Sports Club post 147. Biplab Adhikary bagged 5 for 27. In reply, Aurora Athletic Club were 65/3 when play was stopped due to rain and the match was abandoned.
Vansh Kumar (42), Ayan Banerjee (3-17) helped Salkia Friends Association beat Friends Sporting Union by 3 wickets. Rajveer Kumar scored 50.
Jayjeet Jaiswal (52) helped Calcutta Cricket Club score 245. Pranav Kartha bagged 4 for 62. In reply, Taltala Ekata Sangha were 72/4 when play was stopped due to rain and the match was abandoned. Arka Batabyal bagged 3 for 15.
