In the 6 matches played in the league-stage encounter of the CAB Inter District Senior Men’s One-Day Tournament on Wednesday, the bowlers dominated the batters, displaying excellent performances.
In the first match, Kushal Gupta (5-16), Abhay Chauhan (52) helped Howrah DSA beat South 24-PGS DSA by 107 runs.
In other matches, Soumarup Mondal (5-21), Rohan Pandey (44) helped Chandernagore SA beat Siliguri MKP by 87 runs. Sonu Kumar Singh bagged three wickets.
Rajat Nag (67), Soaib Sha (3-26), Abhijit Biswas (55) helped Jalpaiguri DSA beat Uttar Dinajpur DSA by 52 runs. Swarup Chanda scored 62.
Pranshuu Vishal Tulsean (4-27), Sukriti Jana (3-48), Somen Mahanti (47) helped Midnapore DSA beat Burdwan DSA by 4 wickets. Nikhil Sinha scored 62.
Mahadeb Dutta (26, 2-38), Sumit Kr Yadav (75) helped Cooch Behar DSA beat Murshidabad DSA by 8 runs. Meghbaran Roy bagged 5 for 30 while Tohibur Rahaman scored a fine 93.
Dipanjan Mukherjee (38, 4-18), Supriyo Pal (50) helped North 24-PGS DSA beat Hooghly DSA by 4 wickets. Anup Kumar Barick scored 56 while Sarit Datta bagged 3 for 34.
