Aditya (108, 2-45), Abhishek (107), Abhijeet (5-19) impress in CAB 1st Div One-Day meet

Bhowanipore Club, Mohun Bagan AC, East Bengal Club, Town Club, Tapan Memorial Club, E.Rly.Sports Association, Aryan Club and BNR Recreation Club registered victories in their respective league-stage matches in the CAB First Division One-Day League-cum-knockout tournament on Wednesday.
In the first match, Aditya Sharma (108 not out, 2-45), Rajat Verma (3-43), Ayush Das (103) helped Tapan Memorial Club beat United Club by 6 wickets. Batting first, United Club scored 240/9. In reply, Tapan Memorial Club scored 244/4.
In other matches, Abhishek Das (107 not out), Vikas Singh (2-10), Shreyan Chakraborty (3-39) helped East Bengal Club beat Barisha Sporting Club by 7 wickets. Batting first, Barisha Sporting Club scored 166/9. In reply, East Bengal scored 167/3.
Arindam Ghosh (97 not out), Ravi Kumar (4-41), Deepak Kumar (3-61), Aamir Gani (94), Chirag (47) helped Bhowanipore Club beat Kalighat Club by 6 wickets. Batting first, Kalighat Club scored 277/8. In reply, Bhowanipore Club scored 282/4. Pramod Chandila scored 75.
Abhijeet Bhagat (5-19), Mohit Roy (65), Anirban Gupta (3-24) helped BNR Recreation Club beat Bhukailash Sporting Club by 9 wickets. Batting first, Bhukailash scored 116. In reply, BNR Recreation scored 119/1.
Uddipan Mukherjee (82 not out, 1-37), Viraj Krishna (71), Bapi Manna (3-48), Rajarshi Mitra (3-35) helped Aryan Club beat YMCA (College Branch) by 24 runs. Batting first, Aryan scored 256/6. In reply, YMCA scored 232/9. Jatin Singh bagged 4 for 27. Suraj Mondal scored 60.
Saiket Das (44 not off 29, 4-40), Nikhil Singh (3-41), Tanmoy Pramanick (57) helped E.Rly.Sports Association beat Calcutta Police Club by 1 wicket. Batting first, Calcutta Police Club scored 197. In reply, E.Rly.Sports Association scored 198/9. Milind Mandal scored 58 also bagging 2 for 6.
Subham Sarkar (4-9), Akash Sarkar (39), Geet Puri (3-18) helped Town Club beat Calcutta Customs Club by 9 wickets. Batting first, Calcutta Customs Club scored 75. In reply, Town Club scored 76/1.
Shantanu (64), Pradeep Kumar (3-35), Vishwajeet Mishra (3-25) helped Mohun Bagan AC beat Md Sporting Club by 6 wickets. Batting first, Md Sporting Club scored 192. In reply, Mohun Bagan AC scored 195/4. Lalit Yadav scored 60.
