In the 6 matches played in the league-stage encounter of the CAB Inter District Senior Men’s One-Day Tournament on Tuesday, the bowlers dominated the batters while Malda DSA qualified for the next round.
In the first match, Goutam Roy (5-20), Rajat Karmakar (48), Pradunya Sarkar (3-50) helped D Dinajpur DSA beat Chandernagore SA by 61 runs. Soumarup Mondal bagged 4 for 35.
In other matches, Aranya Hazra (5-25), Suman Ghosh (79) helped Midnapore DSA beat Bankura DSA by 7 wickets.
Ijaj Uddin (35, 2-45), Abhishek Jha (3-37), Bapi (41) helped Malda DSA beat South 24-PGS DSA by 2 wickets.
Raju Halder (4-11), Rahul Prasad (26), Dipanjan Mukherjee (3-21) helped North 24-PGS DSA beat Nadia DSA by 6 wickets.
Gourav Jadav (20), Krishnendu Goswami (50), Sudeb Mondal (4-18), Aniket Ghosh (3-29) helped Murshidabad DSA beat Birbhum DSA by 73 runs. Golam Mustafa bagged 3 for 40.
Rana Chandra Das (36, 2-30), Pappu Yadav (3-45) helped Uttar Dinajpur DSA beat Manbhum SA by 3 wickets. Swajan Sahis scored 54.
